- Can this be used with a pullup? No, it has a clip that goes on the outside of underwear or other fabric.
- How does this work? This bedwetting alarm is a simple closed-loop system when the underwear is dry, the system is off-state, but when the underwear is wet, the system will be working as soon as possible and wake up your kid or the parents. After 4-12 weeks, the child will stop bed-wetting, because of his/her memories of wetting. It will be hard for the first week, please be patient and everything will be OK.
- Does this unit allow you to turn off the sound? No, it doesn’t, but I think the alarm is important to wake your child when they begin to wet. And also to let you know to get up and put your kid in the toilet.
- How to make the alarm stop? To stop the alarm beeping, just release the clip from the wet underwear, shake the urine off and dry the clip with a tissue. If the beeping continues, rinse the clip under running water, then shake the water off, the beeping will stop, since urine has a stronger adhesion than water. But do not submerge the alarm unit itself in water as this will damage internal components. Only the sensor clip can be run under water to rinse off.
